Dein Wirkungsfeld

Als Junior IoT Software Engineer entwickelst du individuelle Softwarelösungen mit Hilfe von Web-Technologien
Entwurf und Implementierung von APIs und Microservices
Weiterentwicklung von IoT und Cloud-Lösungen auf Basis von AWS und Azure
Konzeption und Implementierung von einfachen Datenmodellen
Continuous Integration & Deployment mit Jenkins, Gitlab und Docker
Beteiligung an allen Projektphasen mit Anforderungsanalyse, Design, Implementierung, Test und Trouble-Shooting
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Kunden im Rahmen von agilen Projekten
Sukzessive Übernahme von Verantwortung

Was Dich auszeichnet

Studium eines MINT-Faches oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Erste Erfahrungen in objektorientierter Programmierung z.B. mit Java, TypeScript, Python
Erste Erfahrungen mit Datenbanken SQL/NoSQL, Time Series
Grundkenntnisse in aktuellen Web-Technologien
Ein Plus sind Kenntnisse in Frameworks wie z.B. Angular, React, Vue.JS
Spaß am agilen Arbeiten mit modernen Methoden (clean code, pair programming, refactoring)
Interesse an IoT (MQTT, Sensoren, 3D Visualisierung)
Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und Technologie- Begeisterung
Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Are you interested in software development and architecture in the field of IoT? Does developing new solutions and expanding existing systems appeal to you? Do you want to keep up with innovations and implement exciting projects in a Cloud & IoT environment? – Then valantic STI is the place to be!

For more than 10 years, we have been developing IoT solutions for our clients as well as connecting machines, sensors, and systems. Right now, we are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a preference for IoT to boost our team.

Your field of activity

As a Junior IoT Software Engineer, you develop individual software solutions by using web technologies
Designing and implementing of APIs and Microservices
Further development of IoT and cloud solutions based on ThingWorx, AWS, and Azure
Conception and implementation of data models for IoT / I4.0 applications
Continuous integration and deployment with Jenkins / Git and Docker
You take part in every stage of the project, also in requirements analysis, design and test
You work closely with our customers in agile projects
You will gradually take over responsibility

What makes you stand out

Degree in a STEM discipline or an equal qualification
First coding experience in in Java (EE) and JavaScript
Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, REST, JSON, XML)
Enjoying agile work (clean code, pair programming, refactoring)
Interested in cloud technologies and IoT projects
Excellent analytical skills and enthusiasm for technology
Profound English and German skills
