Als Cloud DevOps Engineer arbeitest du bei valantic STI in Cloud-Projekten rund um die Themen
- Cloud Native Technologien wie Serverless und Container-Architekturen
- Konzeption / Pflege / Optimierung von CI/CD Pipelines
- Automatisierungslösungen mit Hilfe von Infrastructure as a Code
- Mitarbeit bei der Automatisierung / Optimierung der Prozesse in der Software Engineering Umgebung
- Unterstützung bei der Bewertung neuer, innovativer Ansätze für den Aufbau von hochverfügbaren Architekturen mit besonderen Anforderungen an die IT-Security
Beratung unserer Kunden bei der Umsetzung von bestehenden und neuen Anwendungen für den Einsatz in der Cloud
Aufsetzen von Software-Entwicklungsumgebungen und einer Toolkette für die Entwicklung von Applikationen in der Cloud
Fachlicher Ansprechpartner und technischer Berater für unsere internen Cloud Architekten und Kunden

Was Dich auszeichnet

Erfahrung als Engineer in den Bereichen
- Cloud-Plattformen (AWS, Azure, Google) und serviceorientierten IT-Architekturen
- Management / Betrieb von Docker / Kubernetes Cluster
- Management / Betrieb von CI / CD Pipelines
- Programmiersprachen wie Python, Java, Powershell
- Tools wie Jenkins, CHEF, Puppet, Ansible
- Kenntnisse in SQL-Datenbanken sowie No-SQL Datenbanken
Praxiserfahrung in
- der Erstellung von Fach- / IT-Konzepten, technischen Spezifikationen und Architekturen
- DevOps-Engineering-Umfeld sowie Infrastructure as Code (Cloudformation, Terraform, Ansible)
Vorzugsweise Erfahrung in ITIL und agiler Arbeitsweise
Eigenständige Arbeitsweise und Verantwortung in Projekten (mit eventueller Projektleitung)
Studium eines MINT-Faches oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Your field of activity

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you work on various cloud projects that deal with topics such as
1. Cloud native technologies like serverless and container architectures
2. Conception, maintenance, and optimisation of CI/CD pipelines
3. Automation solutions with help from infrastructure as a code
4. Participation in the automation / optimisation of processes in the software engineering environment
5. Support of the evaluation of new innovative approaches for building highly available architectures with special IT security requirements
Advising our customers on the implementation of existing and new applications for cloud usage
Setting up software development environments and a tool chain for developing applications in the cloud
Expert contact person and technical advisor for our internal cloud architects and clients

What makes you stand out

Experience as engineer in the areas of
1. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) and service oriented IT architectures
2. Management / usage of Docker / Kubernetes cluster
3. Management / usage of CI / CD pipelines
4. Programming languages such as Python, Java, Powershell
5. Tools such as Jenkins, CHEF, Puppet, Ansible
6. Knowledge of SQL as well as NoSQL databases
Practical experience in
1. Creating technical / IT concepts, technical specifications, and architectures
2. DevOps Engineering environments and infrastructure as code (Cloudformation, Terraform, Ansible)
Preferably experience in ITIL and agile work
Independent and responsible way of working in projects (with possible project management)
Degree in a STEM discipline or an equal qualification
Profound English and German skills
